...what are you watching...

Not on Amazon yet, but 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time' will be out on Blu-ray in April...or October depending if the + 6 month US release date equation is in the works.


CLAMP just started a new title; or rather continued from last year's one-shot. There's a neat-o male-like character with a mullet, headband and pink eye-shadow. I will try to hook him up with langwidere.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica 5! Sayaka's friend recovers. Another magical girl comes to challenge Sayaka the newbie. The only interesting parts to this anime are the fight scenes. The characters themselves are an annoyance. I'm watching 1 more episode to see if Madoka grows a spine.

Been going through submissions for the C-AA fanbook. At first it didn't look like a lot, but once I opened all the zips...yeah, there's a lot; decent variety and only a handful of potential problems which mostly involve image file quality and whether to accept an iffy 'trace' or 2 or 3. There are a couple non-C works which are puzzling. I guess I'll go through the text files tomorrow, but thankfully, others have taken care of reading the entries. Just gotta make sure the files open. It's interesting that the Spain and Mexico have a high number of submissions after the US; good promotion in those countries. :)

Been up since 6am...
There's rarely much fan-gushing here. Well, that's a little lie, since I think I like to babble about Laruku and Gundam and a random anime or drama or two. I have a gush about some cd dramas hiding in the bushes, too, but--
--random people have f-ed me; possibly, from the Clamp com, so here's a random gush about a Clamp-related topic...

Compared to other anime figures like those Nendoroid ones or Chara fortune figures, those CLAMP in 3-D Land figures didn't really hold any appeal to me. Although they(movic) put a lot of detail into them, they chose pretty awful outfits for most of them, their faces looked odd and really? they looked cheaply made. I guess if you did in fact, live in Japan, they would be cheap, but importing them is expensive.

Anyhow, I succumbed to the allure of Seishirou and picked up his 3-D figure and Kiseki figure, so that I could chew on his head. When I got them, I saw the 'Made in China' mark and rethought my slobbering plans.

Just got CLAMP Mokona's Okimono Kimono mook in. Already have an email in to the nice bastards people who put stickies over the priority mail label and mailed it via standard.
