Busou Renkin 2! features the opening..which I can best describe as having a really burning anime tune. I've love to drop this anime since as my sis said, 'I don't need another Bleach," but the bad guys look funny and I want to see them in action; especially the spandex-wearing butterfly mask guy. Plus, Kazuki uses Syaoran's deformed face. Anyway, this episode explains in more detail the homonculus. Tokiko meets Kazuki's friends and gets infected with a homonculus-creating bug. This probably follows the standard shonen manga pattern where they gather more comrades and power-up, but it's fun. I'm sure one of the anime channels is monitoring its potential at this very second.

Negima!? 2! also features the opening. The song is sung by the seiyuu and is bit more dramatic than the original anime's song. The visuals are also a little more serious. I like the stacked desks and the numbering. Even though I always thought that the original was a spoof of Harry Potter, I think that this is how Harry Potter should look if it were an anime...darn WB. I also like how flashy the action scenes are. They look more like illustrations than animations. In episode 2, Takamichi-sensei explains to Negi Evangeline's motivation for her actions.

Nana 22! I do love fans who whine. The drama heightens as Trapnest hold their last concert of the tour and Takumi lets everyone know he did Hachiko. Drama...high drama. Shin and Reira are cute even if they seem like the fluffy, promiscuous characters.

And heeeey, why was there nothing good to watch one season and now there's a ton of high production anime? Shouldn't all the japanese kids be studying? Ah~ media is tempting them to be bums.

And why are the Gundam fansubbers shunning Code Ass? Is it that the characters are now waaaay too pretty? or is it the distraction of Death Note? It'd be nice to get an experienced sub-team on that anime...BUt I guess one shan't complain while one is a lowly leecher.

Tenpou Ibun Ayakashi Ayashi 1! 'Ayakashi' is the what ppl are shortening it to...i think.

+ Nice animation & production by Bones.
+ The main character, Yuki, has sparkley shoujo eyes!
+ Very interesting premise.
+ Porno Graffitti's Winding Road is the ending song with plain visuals...but it's a nice song.
- Standard pop tune with a harmonica for the opening song by Ikimonogatari.
- I have some reservations about that lame-looking weapon shown in the preview.

Quick impression~ A bunch of cute peasant kids are praying for a good crop of rice when a big dinosaurus-looking thing appears. Yuki and a mother & son are running away from something. The dinosaur/Youi attacks. Yuki gets his magical shoujo powers and attacks. There are some cute male (possibly fanfic-worthy) couples who also can see the dinosaur. I like this show. It's unique in the odd genres it seems to mix and somewhat funny. The characters have an old anime design to them and are fun to watch. ++

La Corda D'oro -primo passo- 1! hyuu~ decided to watch this after all...after all, Jun Fukuyama is in it. haha.

+ Pretty guys each with different colored hair.
- eh, plot what plot?

Quick impression~ At a school where talented students who study music are separated from the other students, a normal girl sees a fairy who wants her to help him create 'world peace' through music...in return she gets amaaazzzing musical abilities and her pick of a hot boyfriend. It's a standard magical shoujo series. My guess is that the green haired boy gets the girl, but not before the blue-haired boy gets the stick pulled out of his ass. Yes, no more for me...really.

yeah...that was 5 episodes. still have the jdrama to whine about.
