Tenpou Ibun Ayakashi Ayashi 1! 'Ayakashi' is the what ppl are shortening it to...i think.

+ Nice animation & production by Bones.
+ The main character, Yuki, has sparkley shoujo eyes!
+ Very interesting premise.
+ Porno Graffitti's Winding Road is the ending song with plain visuals...but it's a nice song.
- Standard pop tune with a harmonica for the opening song by Ikimonogatari.
- I have some reservations about that lame-looking weapon shown in the preview.

Quick impression~ A bunch of cute peasant kids are praying for a good crop of rice when a big dinosaurus-looking thing appears. Yuki and a mother & son are running away from something. The dinosaur/Youi attacks. Yuki gets his magical shoujo powers and attacks. There are some cute male (possibly fanfic-worthy) couples who also can see the dinosaur. I like this show. It's unique in the odd genres it seems to mix and somewhat funny. The characters have an old anime design to them and are fun to watch. ++

La Corda D'oro -primo passo- 1! hyuu~ decided to watch this after all...after all, Jun Fukuyama is in it. haha.

+ Pretty guys each with different colored hair.
- eh, plot what plot?

Quick impression~ At a school where talented students who study music are separated from the other students, a normal girl sees a fairy who wants her to help him create 'world peace' through music...in return she gets amaaazzzing musical abilities and her pick of a hot boyfriend. It's a standard magical shoujo series. My guess is that the green haired boy gets the girl, but not before the blue-haired boy gets the stick pulled out of his ass. Yes, no more for me...really.

yeah...that was 5 episodes. still have the jdrama to whine about.

Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion 1! may make me watch mechs again.

+ Nice to know Britannia Empire is code for American ass..on that map.
+ Excellent character designs and amusing personalities. Everyone has a big load of highly entertaining arrogance.
+ Good animation with pretty good action scenes.
+ Asuran and Kira rabu rabu lives on. Jun Fukuyama does a nice insane character with Lelouch while Takahiro Sakurai plays his love bestest childhood friend, Suzaku.
- Skating mechs look very lame.
- What was with the trumpet 'wonk wonk' and jazz during the forced suicide scene?
+ Flow's opening song will probably grow on me. Ali Project's ending song is interesting as usual.
- ACK! There is a pink-haired Lacus clone...noooooooo! The other female (non-military/rebel) characters look very squeal-y.

Quick impression~ This mech series like those before it showcases a plethora of slashable characters. uh...right. Britannia has taken over Japan and renames it Area 11. Colonies always rise up when forced to eat things like haggis and spotted dick. Lelouch gains a power that controls people. He has an attractive evil face. The story seems fast-paced and action-filled. It's also a bit melodramatic (the go Japan sentiment?), but the eye-candy makes up for it. If only Tsubasa were as such.

Busou Renkin 1! Only read one chapter of the manga a looong time ago.

- Mid-quality production, I foresee times of bad animation.
+ Seems like a decent shonen fighting anime along the lines of Bleach.
+ Jun Fukuyama voices the main character, Muto Kazuki, who is amusingly dorky.
+ The monster designs, alchemy-tool designs and fighting scenes are pretty interesting and violent.
- No opening this time. The ending song was a typical slow pop ballad.

Quick impression~ Boy tries to save girl, dies, comes back with alchemy. The monsters are homonculus made by alchemy; not unlike those of Hagaren. I'm sure Kazuki and Tokiko (the Rukia of this show) will fight more and get stronger. Not sure if I'll continue this anime especially if Naruto and Bleach resume their manga storylines, but it seems like a fun action-filled anime.

~ah...only one more new anime on my list to view. then, gotta find those doramas.
