The ends : part one

Claymore 26! the end. Poor Raki, Clare didn't seem to swing his way when it mattered. *spoilers* The anime wraps up with the survivors deserting the still-mysterious organization and going separate ways. In the manga, Clare didn't 'beat' Priscilla, Raki never showed up, and the survivors stayed together. Can't say whether the anime was truly satisfying, but it was action-packed and unique. The lack of true resolution in the anime and not-super animation quality might have made the anime series weak overall. Oh, and Raki was just a smidge annoying. ~6.5/10 rating~ rent this one when you are in a blood-thirsty mood.

Darker than Black 24-25! the end. BK201 sounds like a hamburger designation to me. *spoilers* The revelation and consequence of Heaven's Gate and Hell's Gate were good, and the ending was bittersweet as things end with no true consequence. Hei is similar to Clare (in Claymore) since he is the exception to the minority to which he belonged (ie. more human than the others) and is able to touch people's hearts (with his sleepy eyes and stellar personality). The series started off slow to delve into the meat of the story, but was able to pull off a consistently animated and well thought-out conspiracy story. I liked how Amber played her part. I'm glad Yin survived. ~7/10 rating~ Very satisfying, but it's a renter. Is the Dream that a God of Death Has a Darkness Darker than Black?...ah, they weren't talking about the color of his spandex.
