Slumdog Millionaire movie - The quote, "Feel-good movie of the year," gives away the one of two possible endings, but yes, great movie. I approve of the Hare Hare Yukai method of making people want to watch credits.

Boy Meets Boy short film (12 minutes) - love at first sight between two very pretty Korean boys plus no dialogue...PLUS a gay-boy-loving fairy who has the best song ever; "Be careful when you hook up on the streets" may not be the title, but are great lyrics. Okay, it was a little creepy. The one boy looks like he is in middle school.

What struck me most about BMB is how mainstream yaoi/BL it is--right down to the improbable storyline and young bishie leads. I know there's not a lot you can do with 16.5 minutes, but it was definitely not what I was expecting!

yaoi-love entertainment is spreading. no more manly cowboy love or political figure love; it'll simply be pretty boy love here in the usa, too...with sparklies and pink flowers. can't wait. :D
