Hitchhiker's Guide book 6?

Hey, Eoin Colfer (Artemis Fowl author) is writing the sixth Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy book...is that a good thing? or a bad thing? I've never read any of the Artemis Fowl books, but I like Douglas Adams' works.

I only ever read one Artemis Fowl book, and I almost didn't make it through. It's written for kids, and not in a good way.
