I guess holiday driving means 'drive really fast and get caught by police speedtraps or flip your car over and cause massive tie-ups on the highway.'
Caught up on some fantastic turning-point episodes. Much blabbing ahead...

Code Geass R2 13! The new opening and endings are definitely a step-up in music and visual quality. *Secretly thinks Orange Range is overrated and their vocals awful.* The episode was one of the best so far. *Secretly thinks it is a very good thing CLAMP has nothing to do with the writing...because the story would never progress anywhere.* Rolo is turning out to be quite the scary fanboy stalker. Orange-kun's allegiance was unexpected. *wonders if he is faking it.* Btw, if someone shot you and you had a few seconds left, wouldn't you reveal the murderer? I guess not. Is Lelouch going to blame Suzaku now? (since Suzaku was supposed to be with her) An eye for an eye or girlfriend for a girlfriend?

Macross F 13! Thought this would have a new opening, too, but na da. Ok, how wrong is it for Ranka to be doing Alto's hair? And first, Sayako from Code Geass and now, Grace?--I guess a warning of 'beware of maids and secretaries' would be too late. Those backup women will steal the show. In this episode, a ton of revelations are hinted at and something big happens...a smidge confusing.

Nabari no Ou 13! Both sides get invited to Kouga's school and aim to get the Daya scroll. I've sorta spoiled myself by reading the rest of the available manga. It's an interesting story with very nice plot twists and great character development. Not totally into the mangaka's art style, but do love the animation style. Anyway, this story arc is definitely must-see material since it sets up the lovely twists later on. The b.a.d. thing is that the manga is still continuing, and the anime won't end conclusively unless they get a break (a la code geass/gundam00) and continue later.

Toshokan Sensou 12! the end. I didn't expect that kind of ending. Well, the end was expected, but the handicap was unexpected. Oh well, since there may be people who end up watching this (um..one or two of you), I won't spoil it any further, but it was a decent end.
~6/10 rating~ I think it tried too hard to push the 'message' across which resulted in me rolling my eyes in quite a few episodes.
