Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi 2! I was getting a little bored during the buiid-up to this episode, but the eventual realization was amusing. I think the director is trying to develop the characters a little more slowly in this series...as opposed to Junjou Romantica where the couples were boinking at least once every episode. In episode 2, Ritchan learns that his boss was his first love. Despite his insightful thoughts about the situation, he is obviously sticking around for some abuse.
Tiger and Bunny 3! Enjoying the old married couple dialogue;
top or bottom is the fanservice question indeed. We get Bunny's short Batman-like background story. From the preview, maybe we'll get one hero's story at a time?
X-Men 3! The X-men save Hisako and the other mutant children. Hisako's power is very Astroboy-shaped. They also pick up Emma Frost.
Deadman Wonderland 1! And for something with more blood and gore...
+ Interesting premise
- Bland animation production & characters
Quick impression~ A young boy is convicted of killing all his classmates. The real murderer implanted a red gem into the boy's chest. He is sentenced to death and sent to Deadman Wonderland, an amusement park where the entertainment is at the expense of the convicts who work there. He meets the obligatory moe character. He gets buillied, red gem glows, power shoots out, and his bullies get killed. This vaguely reminded me of that disturbing prison anime, Rainbow, which I never finished. The characters are victims of the so-called justice system, and they aren't quick enough to point out the huge holes. Despite all the promotion surrounding this, the story was unconvincing.
I'll be sticking with the boy-love anime; Sekaiichi, Tiger x Bunny, X-Men and will give Anohana and C another couple episodes. There's at least 2 dramas I want to fit into my spring/summer schedule; Muscle Girl and Manny. :)
