Jan. 26th, 2008 03:15 pmAshita no Yoshio Kita 3! Yoshio Kita meets his former wife and things don't go so well. I'm enjoying the insurance fraud investigator duo and the fact that even though there are depressing parts, Yoshio always seems to go forward...even if he has a crazy inner voice.

Honey & Clover 2! got around to watching all of this episode. Not really enjoying this jdrama version. Morita still feels fake. And I remember Yamada's crush being annoyingly drawn out, and the drama hasn't held back in that regard. Oh well.

Virgin Snow j/k-movie! (Hatsuyuki no koi) This is otherwise known as 'who is prettier?', Lee Jun-ki or Miyazaki Aoi. There's also some sort of boy-meets-girl, overcomes cultural barrier, girl angsts over random personal problem, boy and girl make promise, etc. But really, the conflict is 'who is prettier'. Aoi has youth and innocence working for her. Aoi as always looks super cute in kimono/yutakas. Jun-ki looks a bit too mature for high school kid he is supposed to be playing and his 'genki' act is only somewhat convincing. However, he does have that very enviable & idealized asian face and some nice martial arts moves. And lipgloss looks better on him than on Aoi..haha. Anyway, this reminded me of the other j-k romance drama, Friends, where the question was 'who was hotter', Won Bin or Fukada Kyoko. I voted for the guy that time.
