Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood 9! In this version Ed runs off first after the fight (Al ran off, and moped a bit in the first version). And oh noes, Hughes's demise will come sooner than the 20th-something's episode. We were speed-viewing the first version and the early episodes really did do a nice job at fleshing out the characters, and the fillers were actually good (better than what Bones did to Soul Eater). It's fun to see different versions of the same important scenes or extra scenes like their sensei's blip at the train station. Y'know they are totally going to remake Naruto in like 20 years a la Dragonball clipped-style. Bleach should be remade from scratch. Soul Eater needs a remake from the halfway point of the first version. I'm guessing the only the most popular franchises would be remade, so Kuroshitsuji, Tsubasa, Nabari no Ou have no chance of remakes.

Mr. Brain 2! Gackt plays a Hannibal Lecter-type killer who was put to death and then supposedly comes back to life. The techie fanservice, actors and production are
great, but the actual show is eh...not really keeping my attention. I haven't gotten attached to any of the characters. They are too been-there-done-that.

Shiroi Haru 6-7! The baker who is mostly brain-dead hires Haruo as extra help. Haruo is happy-happy to be able to work near his daughter. The girl who plays Sachi is adorable.

Mr. Brain 1! jdrama. I wasn't going to watch this since it sounded exactly like Galileo (which was too serious for my tastes), but Kimura, Gackt, Kame and the other potential special guests lured me in. It's like the meeting place of who's who in jdrama. The episode starts off when Kimura's character, a host, is ending his night by helping a damsel in distress when all of the sudden, siding off of a building falls on him. *Funny!*

So it's 2009 now and we witness (the HUGe-ass budget for this show) the police department investigating a car bomb. Enter Kimura's character with a high-powered brain and...new glamorous, wavy hair. He solves the bomb case and is introduced to the IPS, Institute of Police Science, and goes on to help solve a serial homicide case. Kinda ignored all the techno, case-solving stuff. His personality is the same eccentric one we've seen in Hero with an additional odd laugh quirk. The supporting characters are the typical cast of one-personality-trait characters, but the show is pretty amusing for a show that is like CSI with Japanese fanservice. There is nothing new about this show, but it is made so that Kimura thrives; he is cutely entertaining. Plus, Gackt looked very Gackt-y in the preview. Koyuki is also in the next episode. Van Halen's "Jump" is the theme song which is not the most fitting song and is inserted at odd moments, but Japan seems to love 80's music.
