It would be really lovely if people could, you know, read...and/or run text through babelfish. Btw, is it flattering or creepy when your project shows up on a blog with an image of busty girls and butts?

Hakushaku to Yousei 12! the end. Well, considering that it was based on a novel series, they basically seemed to introduce the story to the audience. In this last episode, the bad guy gets away and we never meet the evil 'Prince'. The hero never even gets a real kiss. The writing was both very awkward and atrociously entertaining. Edgar was some sort of bad Jane Austen hero. Anyway, I'm glad Raven and Nico establish some sort of cute bond. ~6/10 rating~ for eye-candy. This is probably best to watch if you are under the age of 13 and a girl.

New shows airing this week:
Minami-ke Okaeri (today)
Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou (Monday) - on crunchyroll..ugh.
Boys Over Flowers (Monday-Tuesday)

And next week:
Kami no Shizuki (Tuesday)
Genji Monogatari Sennenki (Thursday)
Love Shuffle (Friday)

Goku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei 2! the last straight to DVD episode..or not.(edit: there's one more in Feb). This is about how the Japanese prefers the process of things rather than the result or ending; like how they prefer growing girls to mature women. Gotta love how truthful and funny this show is. Despite the majority of jokes and references going right over my head, I still enjoy watching for the jokes that I do get and for the excellent and unique animation.

Hakushaku to Yousei 11! Highlights include Edgar trying to guess the name he called out while trying to accost Lydia, Kelpie crushing the wolf's head with his bare hand, and Raven commenting on Nico's fluffy tail. This would be a really good show if things didn't feel so random.

Hakushaku to Yousei 10! haha, Edgar is under the impression that he did it with Lydia while drunk, and now should do the gentlemanly thing and marry her. whoops. This was actually a funny episode. The writing is disjointed and the production is awkward, but eh, I think the aim is fluff and eye-candy, so in that regard, it's ok.

Gundam 00 S2 10! A set-up episode where the writers introduce us to more cradle-robbing, characters named Anew Returner & Bring Stability(?), and a couple really big weapons. I'm a little pissed that they possibly killed off Sergei. I'm now fond of the chubby kid who thinks war could be ended with food. I'm sure a bomb will be aimed his way in the next episode.

Junjou Romantica S2 9! Observing the seasonal decor, I will guess that they might end this season with a Christmas episode. In this episode, a real confession causes groping in the shower.

Hakushaku to Yousei 9! I wonder if Nico will have a human form later on. In this episode, Edgar gets drunk on gin & Jack Daniels, and then gets frisky. He isn't turning out to be the best example of an English gentlemen; stealing titles, in bed with one girl, but saying another's name, and then falling asleep before getting anything done or undone.

Hakushaku to Yousei 8! Shoujo and cross-dressing go hand-in-hand.

Vampire Knight: Guilty 9! More flashbacks to when Harry met Sally or when the Kuran parents died. Kaname proves himself to be a wimp who wants a girl to do his dirty work. And this episode almost put me to sleep.
Photobucket
Junjou Romantica S2 8! This was a little more nicely animated than the previous episodes have been, but the engrish = fail. Even though it seems like a typical teacher-student scenario, Miyagi and Shinobu's angst is a helluva lot more funny than the others in the same genre. It's probably because they have very, very similar personalities. The episode has no cabbage smut though; woe.

Photobucket
Kurozuka 8! Kurou meets an old beggar who has information for Kurou in exchange for money and the disposal of his feces. *ew* Definitely a strange and surprisingly funny 15 minutes.

Vampire Knight: Guilty 8! So nearing the end of the second season, we finally get to the interesting part. I like Zero's 'Gonna barf' face when he hears about Yuuki and Kaname.

Hakushaku to Yousei 7! Edgar's character is hard to pin down. He's an atrocious, but sometimes conniving liar, but the way he is animated makes him appear like a mannequin. I think it's the eyes. Kelpie also appears to have very blank eyes. I think Edgar would probably be more convincing in text rather than on-screen. In this episode Lydia saves Edgar from poison by making a promise with the kelpie. Edgar gets Lydia out of her promise by some messed up logic. Miyano Mamoru's character appears next time. Who can be the better blond bishie?
Photobucket
Kuroshitsuji 6! The shinigamis have deathscythes that are the shape of garden tools - cute. Can't say that I totally love this show yet, but it's definitely getting better with each episode.

Photobucket
Hakushaku to Yousei 5! starts another chapter where Edgar has even more atrocious dialogue, but there's another piece of hot fairy eye-candy voiced by Koyasu Takehito that appears, a kelpie nicknamed Cain.

Kurozuka 6! Continuing from the previous episode, the red emperor's army attacks, Kurou and his posse fight back. me eyes go droopy.

Soul Eater 31! Crona is finally getting along at school when Medusa shows up to get her to do her dirty work. Crona feels terrible afterwords. And after this depressing episode, we get another Excaaaaliberrrr filler next week.

Photobucket
Hakushaku to Yousei 4! No matter how cool the characters are, sometimes fight scenes that are cheaply animated are just silly looking. There's a scene where the brownies look like they eat the bad guys...so random. Edgar and Lydia negotiate with the merrow and obtain the sword. Edgar is acknowledged as the Blue Earl Knight and fanangles Lydia as his personal fairy doctor. The fast-pacing and huge plot-holes reminds me of how Allison & Lillia transitioned from novel to anime. Anyway, I enjoy the eye-candy and the drips of fairy lore.

Photobucket
Michiko to Hatchin 2! there was a break in this show's airing schedule. Anyway, episode 2 introduces us to Atsuko Jackson, a police officer after Michiko. She was also her childhood friend. Michiko always gets away from Atsuko which infuriates the police officer. This episode again, has sexy-stylish visuals, but it still lacks something unique to separate it from all the other shows this season.
Photobucket
Hakushaku to Yousei 3! Man, the flowery dialogue makes me cringe. Are there usually brick fireplaces on ships? In this episode, Edgar and Lydia reach the island and continue to try to crack the riddle about merrows and spunkies. The bad guy, Gotham(?), is there to trap them. Lydia's father is also there. And a wolfy specter shows up...is he one of the other bishonen characters?

Photobucket
Kuroshitsuji 4! Ciel makes a lovely girl. In this episode, they investigate possible Jack the Ripper suspects. Gotta love or hate the yaoi factor.

Photobucket
Junjou Romantica S2 3! Darn, the Usami butler's name is not Sebastian. It must be a lack of smarmy smile. There was some funky bgm near the end of the episode. They cut the smut scenes in this episode. Maybe it'll be smut every other episode?

And a couple more...
Yozakura Quartet 4! Enjin, the bad guy with the fox ears, learns that his body's original soul, Gin, is still hanging around. Akina is not able to attack knowing that his friend is still there. The flashback was cute.

Vampire Knight: Guilty 2-3! I'm still wondering why everyone wants to eat Yuuki. Maybe the less intelligent you are, the better you taste? Episode 3 had some cute chibi Aidou moments. Kaname was still a creep back then. Maybe it's the only-child syndrome that makes him a creep. Or him being the almighty pure-blood vampire. Or having parents that committed suicide.

...kissing boys, naked boys, and boys with animal ears...mmm.

Junjou Romantica S2 2! Misaki is angsting about being a bother to a professional Usagi, but Usagi doesn't care as long as he gets sex up against the hotel window. *peeping tom's dream* Usagi's brother starts his wooing via strawberry-attack.

Photobucket
Hakushaku to Yousei 2! After a hundred and one instances of naked females in anime intros and outres, we get the rare naked male species. The eye-candy almost covers the fact that Midorikawa Hikaru's ending song is piss-poorly sung. In this episode, Edgar upps his 'feel sorry for me' routine. Raven is sooo fine. :)

Photobucket
Yozakura Quartet 3! This episode is about Hime, the scarf-wearing mayor, and a dog she gets. Yes, it's that dull...zzz.

Hakushaku to Yosei (Count and Fairy...needs a nickname) 1! those cn otaku are quick. This looks like Ouran on the Titanic.

+ Great animation - looks like Vampire Knight with a quality production team
+ Popular seiyuu - Hikaru Midorikawa, Nana Mizuki, Hiroshi Kamiya, Mamoru Miyano, etc.
+/- Not sure where this is going
- Not liking the opening or ending songs..Edgar sings the ending..blech.

Quick summary ~ This is based on some light novels. I can't really find much information on them. Edgar J.C. Ashenbert who is blond with violet eyes like Tamaki from Ouran Hostub enlists the help of Lydia Carlton, the fairy doctor, to find a family sword? He doesn't seem all too nice.

Quick impression ~ a shoujo mystery for me? I guess I can give it a twirl. Edgar seems to have sparklies and sparkly sounds following him. Nico the cat has a sarcastic personality, but needs even more to top Nyanko-sensei from Natsume Yuujinchou. Lydia seems to be moe for Edgar and his servant, and judging by Edgar's rope(?) burns, they are a kinky couple...or at least the writers want you to think that way. There wasn't anything outstanding about the first episode outside of the pretty bishies, but I'll try a few more episodes for fun.
