Been looking forward to hearing the L'Arc~en~Ciel Tribute album. There was actually a previous tribute album released a month ago. The artists didn't really stray too much from the original source. This one has a little more variety in arrangements. For US listeners, TLC and Boyz II Men's covers would be of interest since they really stripped the 'rock' out of Laruku's songs. The other covers sound very much like the original with rewritten pop lyrics.

Flower turns into a French muzak box? noooo...the original arrangement is the best.

Maxi Priest's Vivid Colors was the only other cover done outside of the box..reggae. But no youtube linky found.
