Nabari no Ou 3! Nabari no Ou is a keeper. After watching this episode, I promptly devoured the available manga...yes, it's entertaining due to excellent artwork and straightforward shonen story-telling. And the bad guys always have a chance for redemption...usually as a result of the main character's attractive personality and a good dose of boy-love innuendo. The only problem with shonen manga is...that it could last 100 volumes or 200 anime episodes. In episode 3 Miharu and gang face a group from Kairoushuu who are after Fuuma's Kinjutsu (secret something in a scroll). Pretty boy with very evil Kira technique & with a perfectly-tied butt bow appears and promptly beats the crap out of everyone. And then quirky megane-guy saves them. Some of the slow-motion drama was corny, but still, I'm amused.
Veltpunch's Crawl is the opening to Nabari no Ou. It's a catchy rock song that would be great radio music..if jpop were featured on the local station. Link to the PV which just features the group rockin' out while a burglary is taking place.
A three-day weekend also gave me time to read Soul Eater. 7 volumes took about 2 hours since eh...although very amusing, there isn't too, too much depth or content. Like Nabari no Ou, this series could last 100 volumes should the mangaka choose to torment us. The anime is already slated for 51 episodes...I would say 'ugh', but so far, it's well-made entertainment.

Soul Eater 3! was unexpectedly hilarious. Death the Kid is Shinigami's son who is a character obsessed with symmetry. He is voiced by Miyano Mamoru who uses his Tamaki voice...which is awesome. This episode should hook any reluctant anime fan. The next episode will start the actual main story of this series.
Points - Gackt in a Hollywood movie? uh.
