It's a little telling that although the UN were capable of killing off the Trinitys, they show mercy and let them retreat. It is Ali Al Sarshes who ends up being the 'bad' guy again. In any case, Alejandro's plan to kill off Aeolia Schenberg (in cold sleep..ha) and take over the world is stopped by Aeolia's activation of the Trans-Am system; ie. GN-drives are now one-upped by the Trans-am system. Setsuna who had stepped in to save the Trinitys, is also now perfectly capable of finishing off Ali Al, but there again, shows that stupidity/mercy and lets him retreat. And although some fans want to attribute the eyepatch to CLAMP, here's Yun Kouga's early patchwork. ye be pirates...arrrrgh.
