Things I wanted weren't on sale on Black Friday or Cyber Monday...darn. Plus, a fraud won one of my ebay auctions. *le sigh* FYI: If they send a pseudo-Paypal email with three times the amount of the auction asking you to ship first? It's a fake. Ah well, most everything else sold.

Nodame Cantabile 6!

In the beginning of the episode Nodame convinces Chiaki to play the Rachmaninoff piece with her. Although I enjoy the whimsical style, I don't think I can listen to the whole 40-50 minute piece played so disjointedly. Moving on, as the 4th year students try and look for jobs, Chiaki wonders what to do with his life. His aviatophobia and hydrophobia prevent him from traveling to Europe like most talented music students do. His phobia-face is so great. *swoon* Oh yeah, the intro scene in bed with the girls and the sushi place moments were also so funny. *swoon* Anyway, the S-ok disbands and another ok is prompted by Kiyora. Looks interesting.

Flowers for Algernon 1! jdrama. I thought the kdrama version, Hello God, was pretty interesting but I did skim through the end since the subtitlers were/are being slugs. The jdrama version tries to be more true to the short story and it's a tad more depressing. The kdrama had the doctor being one of the main focuses and romance as another focus. The jdrama's cast is less attractive and focuses alot on Haru. Haru's mother abandons him at a bakery as a child. He grows up there and helps out. There's another mentally challenged person there, Miki. Both her and Haru aren't able to actually be out where the customers are. They also attend a special school with a pretty teacher. The teacher has a friend who works with a brain-researcher. Stuff happens and the teacher reluctantly recommends Haru for the experimental surgery. This drama lacks the flash that the kdrama had, but the pacing is faster. It also evokes more emotion. *weep* Not sure if I'll get through it all, since I'm wanting more upbeat entertainment right now, but it's interesting.

Y'know if were up to just Fay, Kurogane, Sakura and Syaoran, they'd be around 80-90 years old by the time they got all those feathers. It's a good thing there are more competent feather-hunters; Seishirou, Kamui & Subaru, Fuuma, other Syaoran. I'm sure it only takes them one chapter to get a feather.
