Can't really do informed reviews of Hwangjiny since I can't get some of the dialogue, but the basics I can handle. Anyway, this is turning out to be a great period drama.
Episode 9 marks the end of one chapter in Hwangjiny's life *spoilers* as Eun-ho, the young boy, dies as a result of his love for Hwangjiny. I can't say that his part in the story was very interesting, but it changes the way she views her life. I did enjoy her mother's cute part in this.

Aaaand episode 10 was definitely a jump in time. They all get an upgrade in clothes & makeup and Hwangjiny gets a more mature, manipulative & cold personality. We also get a few more hot guys. *more and more spoilers..but from the forum so possibly erroneous* Kim Jung-Han is supposedly a famous poet and has the longest relationship with Jiny. The bodyguard, Lee Saeng, is her last love. There is at least one more to show up in the series. Kim Jung-Han is a nice, refreshing character after Eun-ho. He was so cute scarfing down food while hanging out the the homeless people. In the episode there was much dialogue on the gisaeng and the arts...music in particular, that I didn't get. Some mean-looking guy doesn't like Korean music. The troop tries to convince him. Jiny verbally spars with him. Can't really say I like traditional Korean music (wailing cats come to mind), but that which accompanies it is very beautiful. Jiny gets incredibly nice hanboks and the hair accessories are so pretty. The colors in this drama are so rich. AAAAND Jung-han gets a cool hat!
Anyway, it's a shame the distribution of this drama isn't on d-addicts. It would make it more popular.
