rented over the weekend
Jul. 7th, 2004 06:59 pmah. the commercially released version.
moon child--was more understandable than the fansubbed version. and of course better quality. and oi, did they change that one song in the middle. wouldn't understand why. oh well. and caught a few laziness in translations and one misspelled word...but i think the word 'licence' is always misspelled...*cough* anyway, the movie was hilarious as expected. even though this is gackt's big movie project, he is easily the worst actor there. but once you get into the movie, it's ok. like i've said before, it's very well-made. interesting scenery, interesting characters, interesting music. the worst parts are the lines and scenes ripped off a bad anne rice fanfic. the hyde and gackt duet is quite pretty...too bad they don't put the whole song in. and for the gallery part of the dvd, geez, they should have put some pages from the photobook...which is very pretty.
together--was alot more understandable...ha ha, considering the first time i watched it, it was raw. very heartwarming movie. loved the red sweaters. loved the violin music. i like how everyone was supportive of the main character. no bad guys. yay. i liked the straighforward story in this...wish life were that straight.
