Post about Rain/Bi being the #1 influential person on Time Magazine's poll. The clip is so funny.
Witch Yoo Hee 6! There's something about this kdrama that is enjoyable, but lacks in the building of anticipation. It is probably the fact that the show takes forever to get anywhere and the charm of the initial 'makeover' story wore off. Episode 6 starts the trend of dumb drama misunderstandings and missed opportunities. Yoo Hee's senior/senpai likes her but has some 'deal' with her father that will take the rest of the series to unravel. Her father has some heart condition and wants Yoo Hee to marry. Johnny likes Yoo Hee, but is a decent enough character to not be an ass. Mu-ryoung is still charming and way too smiley, and will undoubtedly end up with Yoo Hee. Mu-ryoung also has a girlfriend who is starting to get jealous of all the Yoo Hee time he has. Judging by all the 'the ending sucks' posts at soompi, I'd better stop here.
I don't see any immediate new kdramas that look promising, but MBC's Coffee Prince Number One Shop has a funny title and starts in July. It's about a girl who pretends to be a homosexual boy to avoid an arranged marriage. It stars the actress who played the lead in the first Goong series. Hopefully, this is a comedy and she doesn't start weeping in every. single. episode.
