Tari Tari 1! the quiet version of K'ON

Quick impression~ A young girl wants to form a new school club so that she can sing. There's a reluctant girl who vows not to sing ever again. There's a boy who plays badminton. There's a boy who has transferred from overseas. Zzz... I'm sure this will be quite successful.
Chouyaku Hyakuninisshu: Uta Koi 1! First an anime about karuta, now an anime about the poems.

Quick impression~ I'm terrible at remembering historical facts and figures, but this was an amusing take on romantic poetry and history. The first episode was about Naruhira and Yukihira's romances. Naruhira is a playboy who falls for a woman who is supposed to be married to the emperor. The Chihaya poem is explained. Yukihira, his older brother, is covered in the second half. The juxtaposition of classic poems, traditional art style, modern storytelling and comedy made this entertaining.
