Shaman King: finally read the end of this manga 8 years after starting it. Good to see that there are shonen series that actually end. It was pretty satisfactory, and I can buy the whole "why I want to destroy humans" explanation from Hao. It wasn't a totally original explanation, but a good one to pick out of the "why I am a bad guy" bag. I think the comedy was one of the best parts of this series. Even the fake ending was funny. All of the characters were likable except for the Iron Maiden girl...I forget her real name. HoroHoro, Ren, Chocolove had some incredibly cheesy dialogue that was just fun to read. It's too bad the anime got overedited to the point of destruction. It's a pretty 'western' themed series that 4Kids just ruined. ~8/10 rating for the manga series. Minus 2 because the X-Laws put me to sleep. Chocolove grew up to be Randy Jackson...cool.
