Dec. 26th, 2007 11:54 pmThere's a rip of L'Arc~en~Ciel's new DRINK IT DOWN song somewhere. As expected from them, it is not as jarring as the title suggests; still, I wish someone would advise them on their choice of english words.
I've seen some very clever google map hacks, but here's a cool one for anime/manga fans traveling to Japan -- a thorough shopping guide of Akihabara which has descriptions in english. (via ann.com)
Wish someone would make portable electronic travel guides/maps/gps systems like this for those too poor to have online access on their phones overseas. already mentioned this, didn't i
Got myself the recent Newtype & NT Romance...for the deep, philosophical articles, of course. (all scans are member-locked, but if you just want to see the scans without joining the group, drop me a line and I will give you the d/l link)
Junjo Romantica scans - the promo pictures make this look like it will be given better than the normal treatment given to yaoi anime.
xxxHolic 2 scans - there is more detail on these recent promo pictures than there was on the first season's promos. Maybe this show will get a step up, too.
Code Geass scans - Nothing new. Lelouch was voted No. 1 character of 2007. War does tend to make one popular. Rollo Lamperouge looks like he has a nails-on-chalkboard personality.
Actually got both magazines purely for the lovely scans of Yun Kouga's not-Ritsuka from Gundam 00. Maybe if I feel like more torture tomorrow, I will scan the Gundam 00 sections. I like the quality calendar extras.
And Tokyopop's 'Ultimate Edition' of Fruits Basket with all the crap and errors that the first edition had? Shameful. Someone needs to tell Tokyopop to stop flooding the market with mediocrity and to stop being plain sloppy.
