- Generic animation and production.
- Bland story. Bland monsters.
+ The transvestite is pretty cool.
- He's not really a transvestite...he just wears lipstick.
+ The opening, while being a standard anime pop tune, is pleasant.
- Hiroshi Kamiya and Daisuke Ono's ending song...eep.
Quick summary ~ Bored, young male student (again?) meets a weirdo. Boy and friends go to school at night to pick up forgotten plushie and get attacked by very, very cheap-looking shadow monsters. Weirdo shows up & kisses boy to awaken his powers. Boy loses shadow, gets new clothes & hair color, gets steak knives and beats up monsters.
Quick opinion ~ Um, nice way to white-out a kiss scene. Apparently, this is not a boy-love story...even if there was a good amount of flirting, blushing and kissing. The production and character design look as if it were made a few years ago. Maybe Akira's hairstyle isn't 'cool' enough. Anyway, the preview shows more flirting and some skin. Not too entertaining, but I enjoyed Shirogane's long white braid.
