Pasta kdrama 1! I wonder if this was inspired by the jdrama, Bambino...and the kdrama, Beethoven Virus. Lee Sun-Gyun (the nice guy with the lovely baritone voice in Coffee Prince) plays a chauvinistic, randomly angry, new head chef, Hyun-wook, in an Italian restaurant who fires all the women in the kitchen by the end of the first episode AND hires a bunch of pretty boy chefs in the next episode. Alex (from Clazziquai) plays an arrogant playboy(?) & regular patron of the restaurant. Both male characters are interested in Yoo-Kyung, a kitchen assistant/chef wannabe. To round off the standard 2-guy, 2-gal kdrama cast is a female tv personality chef who seems to be the reason why Hyun-wook doesn't want females in his kitchen. It's a cute set-up and the intro episodes were somewhat feel-good. Not sure the writing and comedy or lack there of, is good enough to sustain any interest. Hyun-wook's mannerisms aren't all that 'cool', but I approve of his pretty-boy-filled kitchen.
