Continuing to taste-test

on with the anime...
Minami-ke 1! I needed more girl action, so decided to try this show. It's plain funny; not stupid funny or fanservice funny, just funny. It's about 3 sisters' day-to-day lives. Yes, sounds quite dull, but...
+ Excellent animation & bgm
+ Funny almost real-life humor
+ Cute character designs
Quick summary - The Minami sisters are made up of the eldest, quiet sister, the loud, middle sister and the smart-ass, younger sister. The first episode shows us how the middle sister torments the younger while the younger manipulates the middle and how the older keeps order. It's a cute, non-fanservice-filled, pure-hearted comedy that hopefully will keep the quality continuing. If you have a sibling or two, I think this might appeal to you. Parents seem to be a non-essential item in fictional families. Random note: Minami-ke Okawari will be an alternate retelling of this series in 2008?
Dragonaut 2! while brain-washed Kazuki gets a buff, manly dragon-person, Jin sadly lusts after Tao who turns out to be a badly-designed cgi dragon. That's enough of the human x dragon slashing for me. The characters don't hold any sort of 'new' quality for me to continue this show and yeah, those dragons are clumsily designed.
Gundam 00 2! While Code Geass's character and plot structure was initially similar to that of Gundam Seed, Gundam 00 obviously takes after Gundam Wing...but the Wufei-like character seems stuck carrying a chick around...poor guy. The Gundam Meisters take on their 2nd mission.
