I tried to watch the rest of Space Dandy episode 1 and then episode 2, but it's not as funny as the reviewers make it out to be. (I'm probably the wrong gender and in the wrong age group to appreciate it). The visuals are pretty cool, but the writing is weak. There are more humorous shows out there...though possibly not this winter season.

Hunter x Hunter 2013 111-113! continues to be the only show worth watching. It's time for the attack on the mutant ants. I like how they changed up these episodes and had the narrator driving the story. 111 mainly focuses on Netero and a little of his past to show us his incredible strength. I was surprised to see the grandfather Zolyck with Netero. The other characters are apparently moving too fast for the viewer...thus, the slow-mo narration.

Pupa 1! A brother finds that his sister is somehow infected with something that makes her eat other humans. Interesting, but the episode was 5 minutes and production was rather poor.

Noragami 1-3! is a cute, but generic kill-the-ayakashi anime. There's action and humor and decent Studio Bones animation. Yato who is voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya is lesser god who wishes to have his own shrine. He tries to accomplish this by helping people via 5 yen offering. In episode 1 a young girl is sorta killed when she tries to save Yato from an oncoming bus. Her soul jumps out her body but her body survives. She latches onto Yato while trying to solve her soul x body problem. I may watch this if there is nothing else that pops up this season. Episode 2 is about him finding a spirit weapon who turns into a cute, bad-mouthed little boy. Episode 3 introduces us to a real god who has several shrines. He hires Yato for some minor work. Again cute, but generic.

Nobunaga the Fool 1! didn't get far enough into the episode to have anything interesting to say.

Hozuki no Reitetsu 1! Lovely animation with an interesting main character, but there is too much humor that relies on understanding more japanese for me to appreciate it.
