Chihayafuru 17! starts off with the karuta club participating in the school sports festival in an attempt to recruit new members. They then plan on which tournaments to participate in during the upcoming year. The nerd-boy naturally has been keeping a record of everyone's playing styles/strength/weaknesses. Chihaya made some cute faces in this episode. I keep enjoying Taichi's one-sided love; so fun to cheer him on.
