Got free tickets + popcorn + drink to the advanced screening of Captain America in 3D. Didn't think that that particular comic book character could be portrayed convincingly, but Chris Evans does so quite sincerely, plus, he's cute. It's a fun summer movie with humorous one-liners and an uplifting atmosphere. The studio's got a smart thing going; watch Iron Man, Thor, Cap-Am, Avengers...possibly go back and watch The Hulk. Anyway, 3D's not great, but eh, it was free. :)

no knowledge of the comic book + no expectations usually means skip the movie, but hey, can't pass up free stuff. :) have to mention that hugo weaving is cute, too.
