Tiger and Bunny 1! Oh ho, heroes supported by not-so-subtle product placement; even Pepsi. I think this is a yaoi show after all.

Quick impression ~ crime-fighting becomes a reality tv show in the future. An older nice-guy hero has his sponsor bought out by another company, and a new younger hero rival is assigned to be his partner. I like the whole single (i think he is a widow or separated) father working a secret job, and I like the fact that the BL factor is played up. There are a ton of nods to reality tv, American tv and just general superhero satire (not sure if satire is the word I'm looking for). There are definitely characters that will remind you of certain American personalities, too. The show is like how NBC's Heroes was a fun takeoff on X-men (at least the first season). Tiger and Bunny is a spin on Heroes. Anyway, it is streaming on Hulu in their usual mediocre quality. At times like this, I want fansubs. You can tell the animation quality is good, but can't really see how great the show should be on streaming sites like Hulu or Crunchyroll. Bunny's name is Barnaby....haha.
