seichanNuramago 4! Rikou and his yokai easily defeat the rat gang. This may be going on my dropped list soon.
Occult Academy 4! still hasn't lived up to the potential episode 1 carried, and the comedy surrounding Bunmei is fading.
And after navigating the hurdles of drama subs again...
Natsu no Koi wa Niji-iro ni Kagayaku/Natsuniji 1! jdrama. Matsujun eye-candy. Matsujun (the Arashi-member with the worst singing voice) plays a young actor, Taiga, who lives under the shadow of his award-winning father. One day he is skydiving when he gets stuck in a tree. A young, outspoken and cheerful woman, Shiori, helps him down. His life changes when 1. his father dies and 2. he falls in love with Shiori. The setup was charming, but the execution was rather dull. I like Yuko Takeuchi and Jun Matsumoto, and I don't think the blandness of episode 1 was their fault, so I'll see if future episode prove better in comedy and drama. Btw, Taiga's manager looks like an asian Christopher Walken in this series.
