Darker Than Black - Ryuusei no Gemini 5! That family was an unexpected development. It's still puzzling that they seem to contribute Hei's current state to the loss of Yin. I was sure he lost Amber, his sister and Huang, but not Yin. Maybe there's something in the past they haven't shown. The 'wish' lady reminds me of Yuuko.

I think the question is what hasn't Hei lost--Amber, his sister, Huang, Yin, and now even his powers. But I think Yin was really the straw that broke the camel's back, particularly after they made the choice to run from the Syndicate together, and Hei couldn't protect her.

I totally love it when there are adult female characters who know everything that's going on and interfere at key points.

Was the loss of Yin in the manga? I was positive she survived the first season, so it was confusing that this season made it appear as though she is dead. I guess I was mostly confused during most of last season, too. Ah well, I could just wait until the writers give their half-arsed explanation during the last episode as always.

Nah, she survived the anime, and she's in the manga, too (which is set between the anime). I'm thinking that the manga won't go in to what happened to her, since apparently the anime DVDs are going to have OVA eps relating to that.

But it is a MYSTERY. How can you not be on the edge of your seat for the resolution of the angsty emo MYSTERY.
