[livejournal.com profile] tricianna made a comment about deteriorating paper quality the other day. I like nice presentation of books, so when I got Dark Horse's Clover this afternoon, I took a look at the credits; Printed in China. I checked out some other US-release manga. The TP books I have are mostly printed in the USA and Canada; the older series in Canada. Other companies use Canada, China, the occasional HK and even Japan. You can probably guess which papers feel the nicest and take in ink best.

Atashinchi no Danshi 5! The over-the-top plot devices can be charming or annoying. This episode was so dumb at times that it was enjoyable. Chisato and the homeless try to dig for a spring so that they can build an onsen and make money.

Hold on. I saw this show on TV randomly, but... I never noticed the girl there. She... looks like Horikita Maki-san... Are my eyes playing tricks on me? >.>;;;
