Natsu no Arashi 1! From Shaft (a la Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei).

+ Excellent production
- zzzz....
- zzzz....

Quick impression~ Hajime uses Arashi's time-travel powers for something that is supposedly funny. Boring characters, boring scenario, totally skimmed and snoozed through this one. Shaft is better off making more Zetsubou Sensei episodes.

Pandora Hearts 1! I was only interested in this for the fanservice potential. This series goes into the 'bocchan' genre. Mantantei Loki, Tactics, Nabari no Ou, Kuroshitsuji and Rental Magica also fall into that group.

- Old style production...looks like the 1990's.
- Nothing outstanding about the story

Quick impression~ On the day of his coming-of-age, Oz (a typical anime 'bocchan'/brat) and his servant, Gilbert, are playing outside and fall into a hole which lead them to a grave. Oz picks up a pocketwatch hanging off the grave, and sees another world where a girl(Alice) is trapped and hates him. He snaps out of it, and goes about his day. His servant is possessed along the way. I'm not seeing anything new here.

It's got shaft's flavor. I have no prior knowledge about the manga and the first episode did nothing to make me want to see more. Maybe the story gets better, but I don't think I'll watch anymore unless I see some good reviews at other sites.
