Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou 4! This show keeps topping itself in terms of how absolutely adorable it can get. Despite how cute each meeting is, the parting is always sad. At least Natsume still has Nyanko-sensei at the end of each episode....well, so far.

Kemono no Soulja Erin 2! A soldier comes to Erin's village to see if Erin's mother can help make his dragon feel better. So far, this seems too much like a children's fantasy story.

Gundam 00 S2 16! So Hank Hercules (another wonderfully named character) is leading the coup d'etat only to inform the general public about the atrocities the A-Laws have been committing for the government, but we find out that the Federation has the power of photoshop. Graham Acre is becoming rather annoying. Even Zechs Marquise was a better masked character than him.

Mouryou no Hako 8! So I'm guessing that I'll have to rewatch some of this show to piece together what I've obviously forgotten...or is some of the missing part part of the novel? Anyway, maybe it'll all come together at the end. All the 'detectives' have come together to play with the kitty.

Hetalia Axis Powers 1! I think this'll be like Gintama. I know it's supposed to be funny, but I just don't laugh. Since Hetalia's episodes are only like 5 minutes, I'll keep watching to see if it grows on me.

Tales of the Abyss 17! The fight between Asch and Van just plain random. And man, Luke and his gang fall into each trap laid for them and basically run around aimlessly trying to stop the collapse of the 'Force'...or the 'Score'...something like that

Good to know I'm not the only person who doesn't find Gintama funny. That is one series I only read for the djs...

There's a couple shows I wish I could get into because of the djs..hehe. Gintama is one. Hitman Reborn is another.

Hetalia seems to have a growing number of followers. Have you heard about it? the comic shorts that make countries into tiny bishies who play around during the ww2 era (i think that's what it is about). The 5 minute anime is streamed on animate.tv. Apparently there were a bunch of Koreans that didn't like how Korea was portrayed and got it cut from regular television. Makes me curious, but I think the BL factor is the driving force behind the popularity. :D

I've never bothered with the anime, only the manga (I own up to vol. 6, I believe). It just struck me as being written for the 10-and-under crowd, which involves a little too much adjusting on my end to make it a worthwhile fandom.

I've got a couple friends pimping me on Hetalia and anti-Hetalia fandom. Basically, I poked about on the main lj fan site for a few minutes, took note of the many translation errors, and haven't been back.

I agree with you on the BL, totally^^ Normally I'd be in to support the fanservice, but as the fandom's so illustration-based and I'm crap at drawing, well...
