seichanBeethoven Virus 13! Du Ru Mi has a photo of herself on her nightstand. Is that a little weird? Who keeps a photo of themselves next to their bed? In episode 13, Du Ru Mi and the oboist both have their health angst. Gun-woo's MouseNodame orchestra sounds refreshing to the concert committee, but Gun-woo isn't happy to uncover that Kang had been underhandedly helping. Sometimes dramas would be more interesting if the characters did not overreact to every situation. Drama for the sake of drama gets annoying, and then you get annoyed at the characters for reacting instead of thinking. I'm a tad annoyed at Du Ru Mi's personality going into the shitter. Hopefully, the next episode will turn them back into thinking adults.
There were a couple shows I wanted to watch after Beethoven Virus. 'Painter of the Wind' and 'Worlds Within' were on top of my list. Anyone watching any current asian dramas that they'd recommend?
Random music ramblings: Maaya Sakamoto has her version of Macross F's 'Ao no Ether' listed on her upcoming album and a couple versions of Aimo on the upcoming Macross F vocal collection. Yay! There are still 6 unnamed tracks left on her album, so maybe more Macross songs? Decided to hunt down Maaya Sakamoto as Eponine from Les Miserables, but it seems she was on a 2003 Purple label recording which isn't really online anywhere. Just found a bad youtube link to 'A Little Fall of Rain'. Anyway, she's reprising the role next year, so maybe there will be a new recording.
