Um...yeah, still sampling everything that doesn't involve too many schoolgirls in short, short skirts. Is this the season for scary anime or what?

Kurozuka 1! Nudity and gore...sign me up! Doesn't this show have a normal website?
+ Excellent production
+ Intriguing story
- Might be too gorey and depressing
+ Miyano Mamoru and Romi Paku
Quick summary ~ A man, Kurou, is being pursued by some monster-like beings. He and his servant find shelter in the middle of the woods with a mysterious beautiful woman, Kuromitsu. One night he witnesses her eating someone...oops. Some more pursuers then attack.
Quick impression ~ Read the manga first because the blurb about a thousand-year obsession stood out for me and secondly, to see how bad the gore was. The manga features more nudity, gore and the occasional smut for those curious. Madhouse updated the character design, so for me, it was more palptable. I think I might choose this vampire story over Vampire Knight this season. The action was pretty 'cool'...but bloody...but not as bloody as the manga. (edit: read more of the manga..eh, maybe I won't be adding this to my to-watch list.)

Nodame Cantabile Pari-hen 1! continuing directly off of the first season we see Chiaki and Nodame arrive in Paris. They meet Frank and Tanya. It's interesting to see how they handled the languages. I wonder if the French was hard for the seiyuu. Anyway, it still feels fresh even after watching the drama and reading the manga, and it made me laugh, so this'll be a keeper.

Soul Eater 27! Aw, when Chrona said she'd protect Maka, Maka's reaction was so cute! Hey, another cool anime priest. In this episode, Arachne awakens and Justin kicks some butt! We also get a new ending which is likable, but not as cute as the previous.
