Gourmet 5! Bong-joo and Joo-Hee's father (part owner/shareholder?) eagerly move on with their lives after Sung-chan's disappearance. Nice big brother he's got there.

They want to expand the restaurant while Chef Oh objects. Unlike, in Osen, this time a franchise gets the okay. In this episode a top food critic visits. Surprisingly Jin-Soo (the common girl-writer-wannabe) is able to help correct a faux-pas made by the restaurant. Yeah, all he wanted was the spam-filled-kimchi-jigae. I kinda like the way they imply Jin-Soo and Bong-joo's relationship; the clumsy girl and straight-laced guy. Joo-Hee who comes off as the traditional nice high-class woman pines for Sung-chan; the straight-laced girl and casual guy. The series makes a time leap ahead to a year later, and we find Sung-chan peddling food from the back of a truck. The local ladies love him. Must be the boyish smile.

Iljimae 5-6! There seemed to have been a pissing match between the impatient fans and subbers. *sigh* In these episodes, Yong tries to find the truth about his father's deaths, search for his mother & sister, while the bad guys try to cover up their tracks.

It's a little sad that he keeps his adoptive parents in the dark. He lets them think their son is a good-for-nothing. Yong so far has been fairly unsuccessful at being heroic. I'm wondering when he'll get his super-hk-style-flying skillz. There's an amusing scene where his father & friends embarrass him by cheering for him before he takes a national exam...or rather not takes it. Junki is fun to watch in this role. I've watched most of the episodes to episode 10 and it keeps getting more entertaining. Anyway, I'll blog them as subs get released, so I can be more accurate with some of the details.

I was wondering what had happened to Iljimae! (Which I have to admit is a guilty...something of mine. Not pleasure, exactly, because I groan as often as I laugh. But the assassin-turned-fake-priest still keeps me coming back for more.)
