Knew Diana Wynne Jones was writing a new book, 'House of Many Ways,' but didn't know it was an actual sequel to 'Howl's Moving Castle.' There's a review here which has tiny spoilers. The book is out in June. Thought 'Castle in the Air' was the sequel, but perhaps not. Any other interesting, potentially fun books coming out this summer?

So did I! Or is she perhaps doing multiple universe sequels? (That said, I am and am not happy to hear this. HMC has been one of my favorite books for years and while I enjoyed Castle in the Air, I was happier with the story as it ended in the first book, and you can't unread something.)

Incidentally, another Chrestomanci sequel(s?) came out late last month...need to put that on my tbr list.

Castle in the Air was sort of a sequel. But pretty much some people from Howl's Moving Castle just happened to be in it. They weren't really the focus of the book. I can't wait for this new one to come out though, since the new Chrestomanci book was just two novels of hers that I already have.

Didn't read the new Chrestomanci yet. Gotta make it through the stack of book that I have yet to read on my nightstand. :) Hope it's good though.

She's fast becoming a fav author.
I'm on the lookout for Dogsbody which I remember you mentioning, but is out-of-print. Not sure if I want to pay the shipping from Amazon.uk. :)

Are you kidding? That's one of the books I loaned to a friend and never got back, despite all assurances to the contrary. It's just about worth shipping from the UK, but I'd still try to see if a library didn't have a copy or two first;-)
