Blocking traffic?: so all those calls I made was time spent wastefully chatting with people who were giving me the run around while I was trying to figure out why my internet was slow. Glad I switched. Stupid Comcast.

Money!: Even though Bush's plan seems flawed in so many ways, I so look forward to writing a check in April and having the money sent back to me. But I'm sure I'll spend it...on something entirely frivolous and from a foreign country*coughjapancough*.

HDR looks like a fun technique, but reading how people do it induces sleepiness.

Cliff's Notes's Hamlet the Manga looks like a comic, a barf-inducing one. Can people please stop encouraging mediocrity and the use of the word 'manga' to promote comics that look nothing like manga...and that look nothing like good artwork? Admittedly, I would read that if they made Rosencrantz and Guildenstern gay and naked.

And hm, is a blogcrew or rpg post some sort of lame way to ask for friends? I think icon posts are a lame way to show off people's 100x100 cropping abilities. To x_reggg: hope it's ok if I axe/limit those posts once the new season starts.

you mean limiting bases or icons? i think limiting general icons will cause outcry from the comm, but i guess bases might be okay to limit...

Maybe if there are active discussions being posted, we'll ask people to refrain from posting spammy icon/rpg posts.

There was an icon posting guideline at another community which said to only post 3 previews and to not list all fifty billion series or to put everything else under a lj-cut. I get a little annoyed when people don't even post previews of the code geass icons but post a huge list of series with maybe 2 from code geass...and then I see the same post pop up on my flist on other communities. I'm exaggerating a little.

Anyway, I guess I won't do anything until April and maybe I'll just ask for restraint during the new season. That way discussions or fun wank don't get buried too fast. :)

i think we should say something like if you have only 3 (5?) or less coded geass icons to offer, then just post those in the preview so people don't have to seive through all your other icons just to find a few. if they like your work, then they can click to see the rest of the post.
i don't mind that much about the long lists, but if you find it annoying, you can do whatever you want with them :P
ohh definitely not exaggerating that much, i've seen similar posts tons of times on my f-list :P
