Sometimes, I let myself be suckered into going somewhere that I know will be dull...but treats are a good lure.

Woe is the lower quality in episode twos...

Minami-ke 2! Ack, I was wrong about the pure part. The show approaches fanservice topics in a matter-of-fact attitude. Haruka, the eldest sister, and her friend talk about how girls have to wear skirts to school and how their panties might be seen. The next topic is 'funny' things that a girl and boy do together. Anyway, this show is able to make these commonplace anime topics really entertaining in a new way. Loved the 'Plain Yogurt' boy.


Rental Magica 2! This is starting to feel like a 'magical boy' version of D.Grayman or D.Grayman for kids? This episode is a flashback to when Itsuki was first made head of the Astral business, when he got his 'demon?' eye (protecting his childhood friend), and when he met the head of Goetia, a rival magic business. Not much excitement with this show..might not make it to the episode 6-7 mid-series turning point.

but .. I haven't been able to make it through baccano ep 1 yet. no story and no patience to wait until one shows up.

Picked out 3 new dramas to start...but subs are slooooow. No young boys in dresses mean no hurry for subs. boo hoo.
