Where's the snow?

Not a speck of snow. Where's my 12 inches of pretty white fluff?

Darker than Black 2! Despite all the limbs being in the right place, this body of work is kind of faulty.
Hopefully, this help-the-damsel-in-distress plot doesn't continue in each story arc. Episode 2 concludes the first story where the X-man/contractor, Hei, was trying to help Chiaki, the damsel, who had info he wanted and *spoilers* is really a living doll of sorts. Hei seems to have the power of using wire to electrocute..I guess simply manipulation of electricity since he doesn't use wire all the time. His partners also include a pudgy human, Hoan?, who lets us know contractors don't have feelings, another contractor, Yin, who can locate people with water, and a talking cat, Mao. The next story arc looks bland. A young school girl is involved and I'm sure the nosey female detective will be suspicious of Hei sooner or later.
I'm still optimistic about the show in general. The production and pacing of the action is still great and Yoko Kanno does the music (which gave me a Cowboy Bebop moment). The fact that all the contractors seem to be foreigners is interesting. The police specifically said they were chasing the French and pointedly checked Hei's ID. Maybe the wall around the city is symbolic of blah blah blah....enough blabbing.

Loveā Com 2! Love the energy of this show.
Can't think of the right word to describe the refreshing nature of this show. The lively colors, fun seiyuu performance, great comedic faces...I think I'm repeating my comments from the first episode. In episode 2, Ootani and Koizumi reaffirm their competition to find a boy/girlfriend. Koizumi is surprised to see that Ootani is popular with the girls at school. Ootani's past love shows up, the xmas concert story is sped through, and someone from Koizumi's past appears. I guess that's another reason to enjoy the show; speedy plot...yay! Wish one of the 50 groups doing La Cazador would pick up this show...ah well, the girls with guns genre overshadows romantic comedy all the time.
Naruto Shippuden 8-9! Sis informed me that the Naruto forehead protectors were a popular accessory at this year's Cherry Blossom festival. haha...along with chubby Sailor Moon cosplayers. ^_^
This was one tedious episode. Kankurou fought a very pitiful battle while Naruto and gang head toward Sand Country. That's all.
