Koutetsu Sangokushi 1! I thought the promo pic had pretty characters. Didn't know it was some sort of pseudo-boy-love show.
- There is a teary-eyed female character in the opening song....oh no.
- Cheapo animation,
+ but like the Loveless anime, the animators try to keep the character design consistent and pretty for the fangirls.
+ Miyano Mamoru (Light from Death Note or Tamaki from Ouran) voices the main character and can sing angst.
- The story seems dull,
+ but there are some very unintentionally funny visuals
Quick impression~ A magical cube-thing is the object of want in another magical, ancient China-like setting. A young boy, Rikuson, witnessed the death of his father by a manly man who steals the cube. The boy grows up in the care ofKoyasu Takehito...a gay pervert with long hair...some important magical character. Rikuson fights against evil and in episode 1 confronts his father's killer & gains a new power, but some mysterious masked men get the cube. This seems like something made purely for the gathering of popular seiyuu for the sake of desperate fangirls. No complaints here. Might continue this purely for the eye-candy.
