seichanDarker than Black 1! is CSI meets Heroes. If it were up to the summary, I wouldn't have watched, but it's Bones and abingdon school boys and Rie Fu.
+ Great fun TMR-y opening song + elegantly simple ending song by Rie Fu ♥
- Odd timing edits to the opening and ending songs.
+ Good animation (not outstanding, but you know it'll be consistent)
+ Actually intriguing storyline
+ Standard, but likable character design
- Rei Ayanami/Ruri Hoshino-like little girl character
Quick impression~ The first episode really doesn't explain much, but you've got bad people with x-men powers, the police and the main characters who currently consist of a young man called Hei, a cat and young girl who likes to stick her feet in water. There is nothing outstanding about this first episode, but I'm sure it'll be an interesting action-filled series, but probably more satisfying with subtitles and in large chunks. I am looking forward to "Tsukiakari" being released by Rie Fu.
