Movies just watched...
DaVinci Code~ Bad script, bad acting, nice Gandalf.
Pride and Prejudice~ sweet, why didn't I see this before...then devoured the tv series...so sweet.
An Inconvenient Truth~ Less self-praise please, but interesting nonetheless.
Borat~ started off kinda amusing, but ugly, hairy, nekid guys...ew

If you mean the A&E tv series...isn't it wonderful? That was the series that first turned me on to Jane Austen, and I have never regretted it;)

I first watched the semi-recent movie with Kiera Knightly. It was very cute and Darcy was hot in his swooshy blue coat. Someone lent us the tv series and I seriously watched it within 2 days about a week ago.

...and then looked up Jane Austen online to see what else she wrote. ^_^

Yes yes the A&E Pride and Prejudice is the best everrrrr!!! (but I didn't like the Kiera Knightly version, bleh. I made Mr. Bear go w/ me to the theaters to watch that one, hehe.) I must have watched the whole thing through at least 5 times. You can also borrow this from the library :)

If you want more Jane Austen, they did a pretty good Sense and Sensibility movie a few years ago with Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet. I hear the same people that did the A&E P&P are planning to also do a tv series of Sense and Sensibility. Hurray!

Don't watch: recent Mansfield Park movie. version of Emma with Gwyneth Paltrow is ok, but not great.

If you're an Alan Rickman fan, he was in Sense and Sensibility, so now you have an excuse to go check that one out as well. ;-)
