Penicillin-Nano (A temporary, smaller version of Penicillin featuring Hakuei, the vocalist, and Chisato, the guitarist.) was at A-kon in June. Wish the ppl I knew in Texas were in Texas at that time. They are another group that would be great to see live. They've been around about the same lenth of time at Laruku and have progressed in a similar manner, except for the fact that they are still very visual. Their music style is hard rock and a little less mainstream. A new interview from them is here. Anyway, Peni-nano is releasing one new single every day for the first seven days of August...then an album the 18th of August. (There's some marketing for ya.)
Peni's Byakuro no Mai PV (a simple ballad...maybe he's a pirate?) and New Future PV in which something furry grows out of Hakuei's butt are at youtube...along with a few other less flattering older PVs.
Although Honey and Clover has made me a Suga Shikao fan, it hasn't converted me into a Spitz fan. Their laidback songs tend to blur together, but Mahou no Kotoba written for the Honey and Clover movie is a nice song. I think that maybe if he had a more interesting voice and more interesting video, I'd be more inclined to jump on the Spitz bus.
