Jun. 22nd, 2006 07:23 amRejoice Jyu-Oh-Sei fans, that wonderful opening song that everyone loves has a PV. In keeping with the anime theme, there is a Chimera-esque jungle setting, dancing, and gold shiny pants...hm. This is apparently Domoto Koichi's first solo single release, but he is a part of Kinki Kids if you want more of him. He isn't the cutest Johnny nor is the song that great, but he has a decent voice and the song is unique enough to be entertaining.
The Death Note tribute album is also lurking out there. Track one is the another version (slightly longer version) of track two on Suga Shikao's new single. Not a big fan of Yaida Hitomi or m-flo or MCU or some of the other artists, but the tracks are entertaining. It ranges from standard pop to rap to heavy metal to weird, weird goth. BUCK-TICK's track, Diablo, is one of those interestingly dark and weird goth songs. Also have to mention Kirito's track, Garden, since I sorta like his voice and this is one of his stronger songs since his group split. It's remniscent of the songs of Pierrot. PE'Z has the only instrumental track on the album. Hey, it'sjazz...a death march. There's alot on the album that isn't my type of music, but it captures the range of style one would perceive from Death Note; from pop-happy Misa to the darker Shinigami and Light-o aspects.
ETA: Ah, Pierrot's last single was released this week. The PV for 'Hello' is at youtube. Good song, but a tad depressing since they've already disbanded in April. While you're there, check out Makana Hana, another song I enjoy.
Hyde will be doing a Q & A event at AX July 1st....*droooool* I want to ask him what kind of skin products he uses....seriously.
