Princess Princess 2! Kouno decides to become a Princess once he finds out that he gets free lunch tickets. Theseme student council president seems pleased. The show has its funny moments like when the Princesses practice their smiles and when the other students refuse to see them change clothing for fear of proof of their male-ness, but the show lags. The characters aren't really all that unique, so I'll drop this from my watching list.
Ah Megami-sama ~Everyone has wings~ 2! The timing of this part of the story seems off as they start a Xmas story. The super-sweet episode leaves cavities in your teeth as Belldandy knits a sweater for Keiichi.
Nana 2! is all about Komatsu Nana and her friend Jun who is almost exactly like the other Nana. Komatsu Nana's (and Shoji's) flaky nature is featured. oh joy. The animation quality went down just a little.
Ouran Koukou Host Club 2! was just as funny as the first episode. This episode celebrated the season of spring; very pretty sakura blossoms drawn in the show. The host club brings a couple together and Haruhi is now my favorite female character. The opening song is still a bit grating, but no matter, everything else is a pleasure to watch.
xxxHOLiC 2! was a downgrade in quality as expected. I wonder what happened to Clamp's relationship to Madhouse Studios(CCS, Chobits, X, etc..now doing Nana) and/or Bones(Angelic Layer). I'm sure the 'important' episodes will have better animation quality. If you haven't read the manga, the anime really doesn't do a good job of storytelling. This episode featured the girl who lied...and eventually gets hit by a truck...ha. I'm still smitten with Suga Shikao's song.
