burned my hand. ouch. three fingers. ouch. been putting burt's beeswax balm on it. too bad it doesn't last a longer amount of time. ouch. that's what i get for grabbing a pan handle without an oven mitt. i'm going to get a miter saw. i hope i don't saw a finger off. i better get one with all the safety features.

special table saw

accidents can still happen (ask jocy). i saw a table saw on tv with some special circuitry that detects when it's cutting into something conductive (like your finger, the example was a hot dog), and it automatically stops and retracts the cutting wheel. you should get one of those. those are cool. you'd be the coolest table saw owner on the block.
