haute doll

made a few trips out today. got a cute easy-to-sew tote from joann's. there are like 5 things you have to sew to put it together. i plan to put at least four pockets in it and use it as a sketch/art bag. also want to put something on the front to make it look...not so asianesque..which is cause by the bright material and pattern. it was either gold or black. i choose the gold...since i didn't want dragons on my bag.

also browsed some magazines. saw that the volks doll was featured on the haute doll magazine. very nice pictures inside. some from a convention where you can see japanese girls dressed lolita-style and gazing at these thousand dollar dolls. quite pretty indeed. there were some other dolls featured in the back of the magazine..zzz. the magazine itself is nice but lacking in the number of pages. and i was surprised to see it linked to the barbie doll magazine page. hm? the cutest part of the magazine featured knit hats for the volks dolls.

...while i'm in such a creative mood, maybe i'll do my taxes this year. ha ha, yeah right.
