Utakoi 12-13! the end. Episode 12 was another failed love story as was episode 13. Teika's story was disappointingly the same as all the others. He was more amusing as the narrator. Anyway, the thirteen episode series about historical love poetry was filled with some nice eye-candy, but each story was rather forgettable. ~6/10 rating~

Code Geass: Akito the Exiled 1 The Wyvern Has Landed! the first of four movies that tells of the EU (European Union/Universe)'s fight against Brittania; a side story to the Code Geass tv series. Akito, an Eleven/Japanese, is a skilled soldier in a division of the EU army led by Layla, a Britannian aristocrat adopted by an EU family. The movie didn't really get into the Britannian characters, but a rebellious Eleven gang who is recruited by Layla gets some air time. Akito has obviously been geassed, and another character who shares his family name, Hyuga, has the power of the geass. C.C. shows up in the preview for the next movie and hopefully, their geass's are explained. The action scenes with the Knightmares are pretty smooth and the bgm is characteristically Yoko Kanno...jazzy. The overall tone is much more restrained than the tv series and fairly serious throughout the hour. Both Akito and Layla do not reveal their true motivations yet.
Hunter x Hunter 2012 48-49! Gon and Killua get an education about antiques and swindling. And then they get caught by the Phantom Troupe.
