After a sleep-inducing summer anime season of which I have yet to finish, here is my Fall list

Jojo's Bizarre Adventures: Hopefully David Production does not butcher this manga-to-anime series like Madhouse did to Zetman. Skimming through wiki, the story is pretty bizarre.

Psycho-Pass: Fate/Zero's creator is behind is anime, it should be watchable.

Magi: Anime-style Aladdin or something like that. Looks like a cute kid's show.

Ixion Saga DT: will watch one episode because of Studio Brains Base

Zetsuen no Tempest: will watch one episode because of Studio Bones

K|K: will watch one episode because of the title

Hunter x Hunter 2012 46-47! Gon, Killua and Leorio continue to try to raise 9 billion to buy Greed Island while Kurapica sets up a trap for Uvojin. Brown Gon and Killua is just so wrong...if it were only in that one episode's Huncyclopedia, I would have worried about the writers. Kurapica and Uvojin's fight was pretty nice. I really don't recall anything from the first series' fight, so it was like watching something new.

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita 11-12! the end. is a flashback to the main character's first day at school. It's a clever arc on being antisocial, being bullied, being lonely and being one of the crowd. It definitely ran close to depressing in some scenes. And in episode 12, Y shows the main character the secrets of the tea club...making her BL obsession look normal. But it's interesting that the main character becomes rather accepting of them. Not sure what the robots stood for, but all in all enjoyable arc. Out of the three new series I was watching, this is the only one that was worth watching. ~8/10 rating~ This show would best be likened to a show in the middle of Kino no Tabi and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei; a genre about failures of humanity, perhaps? I liked the unpredictable stories.

Natsuyuki Rendezvous 10-11! the end. Hazuki is now the ghost. Rokka realizes that Shimao is in Hazuki's body, and wonders where Hazuki is. It is finally over. After the cute set-up in episode 1, I kept waiting and waiting for it to get better; either towards cute shoujo or smart josei. It was neither. Shimao couldn't leave his wife alone to fall in love again and taking over Hazuki's body just made her and Hazuki confused. It failed in both the comedy and angst department. The climax and epilogue were rather nice; though I have no idea why I should be rooting for Rokka and Hazuki's relationship. ~6/10 rating...bland character portrayals.

Utakoi 11! is a story about Murasaki Shikibu, the author of The Tale of Genji, who had some sort of obsessive girl-crush going on with her childhood friend.
